First and foremost, it’s a yes for me. It’s adorable. It’s a really good product, especially at the current price point.

The Studio preserves the beauty and aesthetic appeal of the larger system while offering more versatility due to its more compact size. Additionally, as expected, the cups and pods are the same as the larger system, ensuring consistency and ease of use across the Gardyn lineup.

1. 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲: Not too small and not too big. It’s perfectly sized, not only in terms of width but also height. This is perfect for children to interact with, to set up in a small space, or to use as a living vase in any room of the home. Okay, maybe the last one was a bit extreme and only applicable to hydroponic addicts.

2. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲: You’re getting a lot of value here. Solid, well-built, like the full-sized version.

3. 𝗟𝗶𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀: Solid wooden lid like the larger Gardyn, but with an upgrade. The connection is water-tight, and this lid allows for easy pump replacement. Also, the lid cover for the water inlet is shaped like a water droplet! Very cute.

4. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝘀: These are sturdy and opaque. As with all Gardyns, wipe clean with FON weekly and you should be fine.

5. 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆: You can grow 16 plants with 4 gallons of water. That’s great news. That’s almost twice as much water per plant compared to the larger system.

6. 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: The Gardyn is and will always be the best option for vining plants. If you wanted to grow a Gardyn of those plants, here’s your chance. This is ideal for cucumbers, peas, etc.

For multi-system owners, this is a great single-crop garden as well. I actually think this size is perfect for strawberries, herbal teas, or even a rotating supply of greens.

7. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: In my opinion, this reduces the need for overpriced countertop systems. Why pay $300-$400 to grow 9 plants in 1 gallon of water, when this system allows you to grow 16 plants for $499 (less if you use a referral code)?

I'm currently germinating flowers for it: blue butterfly pea vine, white butterfly pea vine, purple butterfly pea vine, and other edible flowers.

Now I need to get a dolly for both of these systems.

Happy Growing!
