My Hydroponics Discovery Story

I stumbled into hydroponics while searching for plants to help improve the air quality in my home after my daughter’s asthma diagnosis. Sure, I'd already bought air purifiers for every room and installed a sophisticated HVAC system, but I often turn to nature's wisdom for answers. Having studied biology, I believed the solution might lie there.

One day while searching Amazon for air-purifying plants, the search results showed a small hydroponic garden. I'd never seen one before, nor had I ever encountered the word "hydroponics." Curious and a bit stunned, I clicked on it and began reading more.

Intrigued, I went to Google and searched for hydroponics. That's when I discovered the hydroponic garden—Gardyn—that would change my life.

I almost bought it instantly—even though I'd never gardened before. Actually, besides regularly purchasing fresh supermarket bouquets and owning a few peace lilies for air purification, I had no real plant experience. So I paused and decided to sleep on the decision. Well, I woke up the next morning, went straight to my laptop, and bought it (lol 😂). The rest is history.

Soon, one Gardyn turned into a room full of hydroponic gardens, our home filled with lush, oxygen-rich plants, dramatically improving our indoor air quality and noticeably easing my daughter's asthma symptoms.

This unexpected discovery ignited my passion for hydroponics, transforming our family's health and lifestyle.

Over the years, I've branched out to numerous products including countertop systems from Click and Grow and AeroGardens, towers from Lettuce Grow and Tower Gardens, and horizontal farms from Rise Gardens. Each offers its own unique advantage for certain crops, helping me to grow a diverse range of plants right in my home.
